Towels

Cotton

If you choose a towel made of 100% cotton, you will get a soft and comfortable fabric. However, they require a couple of washes before they achieve optimal absorbency.

Cotton and linen

A towel made of half linen (or with a smaller amount of linen) will feel slightly rougher compared to a towel made of pure cotton.
However, the linen makes it absorb liquid more effectively.

Washing

All handwoven fabrics are washed by me before they are posted on the webshop. Any excess dye from the yarn should therefore already be rinsed out. However, I recommend washing them with similar colors to prevent discoloration.

Do not use fabric softener when washing towels as it makes them less effective.

Fabric made of cotton and/or linen can be washed in a washing machine at 60° according to the attached wash label.
